Chief Executive Officer
Michael Marcantonio has served as our Chief Executive Officer since July 2011, also served as our President from July 2011 to June 2012, and our Chief Strategy Officer from January 2009 to June 2011. He has served as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of KKP Canada, located in Plymouth, Michigan, since August 2016. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of AF Holdings, located in Plymouth, Michigan, since December 2012. He has also served as the Manager of AFB IP Holdings, located in Plymouth, Michigan, since July 2011. He served as SGO’s Manager, in Middle River, Maryland, from December 2011 to December 2019 and SGO’s Chief Executive Officer from November 2012 to December 2019. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Brands Staffing LLC (“ABS”), in Plymouth, Michigan, from September 2013 to December 2019. He is the founder and has served as President of MKM Ventures LLC, an investment company located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, since February 2002.
Ramon Palmer, Jr.
President -Franchise Operations
Ramon Palmer, Jr. has served as our President since January 2020. Prior to that he served as SGO’s President, in Middle River, Maryland, from February 2012 to December 2019. He also served as President of our Sign & Graphics Division from June 2012 to December 2016. From November 2010 to February 2012, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Signs by Tomorrow – USA Inc. (“SBTUSA”)in Columbia, Maryland.
Chief Development Officer
Michael Cline has served as our Chief Development Officer since October 2020. Prior to that he was Vice President Franchise Development. He has served as SGO’s Vice President of Franchise Development, in Middle River, Maryland, from January 2015 to December 2019, and was previously SGO’s Director of Franchise Development from February 2012 to January 2015. Mr. Cline also previously held the same positions with us, until his responsibilities with us ended in December 2016. Prior to that, he was the Director of Franchise Development for SBT-USA in Columbia, Maryland from October 2007 to February 2012.
Vice President Marketing
Burke Cueny has served as our Vice President Marketing since January 2020. Prior to that he served as SGO’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications, in Middle River, Maryland, from October 2015 to December 2019. He also provided services to our Sign & Graphics Division from October 2015 to December 2016. From November 1999 to October 2015, he was Managing Director, Partner of RocketScience Marketing, Inc. located in Pontiac, Michigan.
Vice President of Business Development
Jessica joined Alliance Franchise Brands in 2003. In her current role, she leads the new business development and sales team, as well as the Marketing Resource Center which helps drive Franchise Member growth through direct and digital marketing campaign execution and Web-to-print solutions. She’s responsible for brand growth and positioning, as well as developing high-impact customer retention and lead generation programs. From marketing research, direct marketing, and content strategy to search engine marketing, social media, and marketing automation, she is an expert at combining traditional and new media to deliver results. Jessica loves sharing her enthusiasm for marketing through educational speaking engagements at local events across the United States, as well as national conferences.
Vice President Member Resources & Supplier Relations
Mike manages a team that promotes the growth and profitability of franchise members within the Marketing & Print Division – including new owners who have acquired centers through the MatchMaker® Program or Advantage Program. He joined the company in 1985 and has attained increasingly responsible positions in business education, financial management, coaching and consultation, and workflow and project management during his tenure. Mike began his AFB career as a printing instructor, later becoming Director of Training before transitioning to Regional Operations Manager. In 2016, his role expanded to Senior Regional Operations Director, assuming leadership of the Regional Support Team, finally becoming VP of Franchise Member Support and taking on supplier relations.
Vice President Training & Right Start
Stephen Hoyle has served as our Vice President Franchise Services since January 2020. He served as SGO’s Vice President of Franchise Services, in Middle River, Maryland, from January 2019 to December 2019, and prior to that was Senior Director of Franchise Services from August 2017 to December 2018, and Director of Franchise Services from February 2012 to July 2017. Mr. Hoyle was also our Director of Franchise Services from February 2012 to December 2016. Prior to that, he was the Director of Franchise Services for SBT-USA, in Columbia, Maryland, from March 2011 to February 2012. Mr. Hoyle was Director of Training for SBT-USA from February 1995 to February 2011.
Vice President Franchise Business Consulting
John Castillo has served as our Vice President Operations since January 2020. He also served as SGO’s Vice President of Field Operations, in Middle River, Maryland, from January 2019 to December 2019, and prior to that was Senior Regional Director from January 2014 to December 2018. Prior to that, he was our Regional Director from June 2000 to January 2014.
